Terms of Service

Last updated May 24, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your purchase of consultation time and related services from Buzzed Technologies (“Buzzed,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) through buzzedtech.com and associated checkout flows. By purchasing consultation time or continuing through checkout, you agree to these Terms.

1. What you are purchasing

Consultation purchases are for professional diagnostic time, not for software development, implementation, or ongoing engineering work. The session is designed to review your current setup, diagnose bottlenecks, and produce a written specification or next-step plan (“Spec”).

A consultation typically includes a live working session, review of your current setup, diagnosis of the biggest bottlenecks, and a written next-step plan delivered after the call.

Four hours is typical for a first spec; one hour is appropriate for a focused gut check. You choose the block at checkout—we use what is needed toward the Spec and apply any unused portion as account credit under Section 3.

Unless we enter into a separate written agreement, a consultation purchase does not include building, deploying, maintaining, or operating any product, system, or codebase on your behalf.

2. Pricing and rate scope

Consultation time is sold in hourly blocks at the rate displayed at checkout (currently $100 USD per hour unless otherwise stated). Your total charge equals the number of hours selected multiplied by that rate.

The consultation rate applies only to diagnostic and specification work purchased through this flow. It is not the rate for future implementation, custom development, retained engineering, or any work performed under a separate statement of work or master services agreement.

3. Payment, time allocation, and account credit

Payment reserves a block of our professional time. You are purchasing access to that reserved time and our expertise toward producing the Spec, not a guarantee that every purchased hour will be consumed in a live session.

If we reach a complete, actionable Spec in less time than you purchased—for example, you buy four hours but the diagnostic and planning work is finished in two and a half—the unused portion does not disappear. The remaining value is held as account credit on your account with Buzzed, valued at the consultation rate you paid.

Account credit is transferable toward future work with us, including follow-up meetings, implementation and build-outs, retainers, hosting, and other Buzzed invoices, subject to mutual agreement on scope and pricing for that work. Credit does not expire while you remain an active client, and we will apply it in good faith before billing you for additional time or fees covered by the credit balance.

Account credit is not a cash refund unless we agree otherwise in writing or are required by law. If you do not continue working with us, unused credit may be handled on a case-by-case basis—contact us at hi@buzzedtech.com to discuss options.

4. Session length and overtime

Sessions are scheduled based on the hours you purchase. We allow a reasonable grace period for live sessions that run slightly over—for example, a one-hour booking that extends to roughly ninety minutes without an additional charge.

If a session materially exceeds the purchased time—for example, a one-hour booking that extends to two hours or more—we may charge for the additional time at the then-current consultation rate. We will not charge overtime without your explicit confirmation before the additional time is incurred or billed.

5. Scheduling

After payment, we will reach out to schedule your session and work around your availability. We usually do this within 24 hours, except on weekends, holidays, or other periods when we are out of office—in those cases we will follow up as soon as we are back.

Scheduling is subject to mutual confirmation. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your preferences but do not guarantee a specific date or time until confirmed in writing.

If you need to reschedule, contact us at hi@buzzedtech.com as soon as possible. Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may limit future booking eligibility.

6. Deliverables and scope limits

The primary deliverable is a written Spec or next-step plan based on information you provide during the session. The Spec describes recommended direction; it is advisory and does not obligate either party to proceed with implementation.

Any implementation, code, integrations, model training, data processing, or production work requires a separate agreement with its own scope, timeline, and pricing.

7. Your responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate contact and company information at checkout;
  • Come prepared with relevant context, access, and stakeholders needed for a productive session;
  • Confirm you have authority to share any business, technical, or confidential information discussed; and
  • Review the Spec and raise questions promptly after delivery.

8. Confidentiality

We treat non-public information you share during a consultation as confidential and use it only to perform the session and prepare the Spec. These Terms do not replace a mutual non-disclosure agreement where one is required by your organization.

9. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of your pre-existing materials, data, and systems. Buzzed retains ownership of its pre-existing methods, frameworks, templates, and know-how. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the Spec is licensed to you for internal business use upon full payment.

10. Refunds, cancellations, and credit

Consultation purchases are generally non-refundable in cash once payment is completed, because they reserve professional time and capacity. Unused time after the Spec is delivered is handled as account credit under Section 3, not as an automatic refund.

If we cancel a confirmed session for reasons within our control, we will offer rescheduling or credit (or a refund at our discretion) for the affected portion.

Chargebacks initiated without first contacting us may result in suspension of future services.

11. Disclaimers

Consultation services are provided for informational and planning purposes. We do not guarantee specific business outcomes, revenue results, regulatory compliance, or technical feasibility of every recommendation. You are responsible for decisions you make based on the Spec.

Services are provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Buzzed's total liability arising from or related to a consultation purchase will not exceed the amount you paid for that specific purchase. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, data loss, or business interruption.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the current version. Material changes apply to purchases made after the update is posted unless otherwise required by law.
